Walk into Restaurant Saveur in Baileys Harbor and you are sure to meet a kiteboarder. In addition to the owner, Will Marks, there is a group of kiteboarders who make the water off Anclam Park their home. Chris Miller, 26, and Jesse Daniels, 24, are two kiteboarders who work hard and play hard. On a windy day, they can be found on the water, catching wind and amazing the tourists.
Chris’ exploits are featured on his UTube videos by hlfmoon1130. Particularly, check out this one: Baileys Harbor. Besides some awesome kiteboarding, the VID is well done, with cool music.
Lake Michigan and the beach at Baileys Harbor play a prominent role in the video. Both Chris and Jesse, who kiteboard by day and work the dinner shift at Saveur, are committed boarders. From ice boarding on Green Bay to hitting the slopes of Colorado in winter, these guys are living the outdoors life in a big way.
