May 29, 2008- Sunrise School Bike Safety
During National Bike Month of May, Leif
addressed approx. 200 youth, age 8-12, at Sunrise School on safety and bike maintenance. Some of the topics included
helmet fitting, bike fitting and rules of the road, such as bike hand signals and appropriate places to ride. Leif
is manager at DC Bikes and DCSSA treasurer. You'd be hard pressed to find a bike store manager who cares about the
community as much as Leif. Leif's committment with DCSSA stems from his desire to help the community in any way he can.
