MOUNTAIN BIKING

DCSSA members are mountain bike racers. (not all of them, but several) Larry Fish, Fred Bexell, Paul Anschutz and Phil Anschutz race the WORS SERIES, a series of mountain bike races held in Wisconsin. All have high place finishes, and Phil Anschutz, especially, does very well. Phil is 15, a XC skier and mountain biker, serious enough to be going to a semi-pro XC training camp this summer. Frequently you'll see Phil and Jake Cummings, another promising biker at only 13 years old, training at Potawatomi Park or the Cherry Hills singletrack trails North of town.
